Types of Finance Available
Finance Lease
A method of financing assets where the assets remain the property of the finance company that hires them and you pay for the hire and take the risks and rewards of ownership.
Hire Purchase
A type of agreement which contains an option to purchase. An initial deposit is normally paid, the amount of which can vary. The outstanding balance is then paid off in monthly instalments.
Contract Hire
A form of leasing that’s used for cars and vans which removes the risk of ownership and helps fix costs. Ownership remains with the leasing company, as does all the administration, vehicle tax, and often maintenance.
Operating Lease
An operating lease is a form of rental agreement through which you can have use of an asset over a period of time, in return for paying regular instalments. This lease usually has a shorter life than that of the actual asset.
Invoice Finance
A form of lending based on invoices. Businesses can speed up cash flow and unlock cash tied up in invoices by selling their invoices to a third party who advance some of the invoice funds up front for a cut of the invoice.
Commercial Loans
An injection of finance that is usually repaid over a specific period of time and at a set rate of interest. This enables repayments to be known in advance and therefore easily budgeted for.
